The office, previously owned by Dr. Calvert Jang, is now under the careful and expert management of his daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Kathryn Lee and Dr. Raymond Lee. Familiar with the area and the incredible community and patients they have come to call family, Dr. Kathryn Lee and Dr. Raymond Lee are committed to continuing the legacy of unprecedented patient care that has always been provided.

Meet Our Team

Kathryn Lee, DDS

Dr. Lee graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1998 after receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. She has been practicing in the area for over 20 years. As a member of the San Francisco Dental Society, California Dental Society and American Dental Association, Dr. Kathryn Lee is happy to provide you the dental care you deserve.

When Dr. Kathryn Lee isn’t spending time with her husband or children, she enjoys cooking, baking, trying new foods and traveling. A native to San Francisco, Dr. Kathryn Lee is committed to giving back to the community that she grew up in by educating patients and helping to improve their quality of life, one smile at a time!

Raymond Lee, DDS

Dr. Raymond Lee attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and graduated in 1997, having previously studied biological sciences for his undergraduate studies. He also graduated with honors from Tau Kapp Omega Dental Honor Society. Having practiced dentistry for 21 years, Dr. Raymond Lee has a strong appreciation for education and continues to search for the best methods and procedures available to help his patients. His goal is to provide the best care he is capable of to each and every patient, and to treat every patient as if they were his family. Happy to answer any questions his patients have, Dr. Raymond Lee will always love to provide quality dental education to his patients. As a side hobby, Dr. Raymond Lee enjoys landscape photography.

Jessica J. Zhu, DDS

Dr. Jessica Jiao Zhu is a proud graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2015. Her education also includes a bachelor’s degree in biology from UCLA College of Letters & Science. With a commitment to providing the best care to her patients, Dr. Zhu continues to further her knowledge and capabilities by taking CE classes every year. She has practiced in LA for 2 years and the Bay Area for almost a year. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, and she is certified in Invisalign®.

Dr. Zhu is a native of Los Angeles, where some of her family still lives today. She loves her husband, a software engineer, and their dog. She also enjoys cooking, painting, reading, karaoke and cosplay. She loves dogs and is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Zhu wants all her patients to know about her commitment to providing them the best care possible, and she hopes that everyone who she sees will leave feeling like family.

Doctor Emily ChungEmily Chung, DMD

Dr. Emily Chung, DMD, is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to delivering comprehensive dental care. She obtained her dental degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences in 2023, after completing her undergraduate studies in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California, Davis.

Continuing education is a priority for Dr. Chung, who seeks to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of dentistry. She attends annual education programs to enhance her skills and knowledge, ensuring her patients receive the most modern and effective treatments.

Dr. Chung is an esteemed member of various professional organizations, including the San Mateo County Dental Society, California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. These memberships reflect her commitment to her profession and staying connected with her dental community.

As a dentist, Dr. Chung’s objective is to provide personalized treatment plans to help each patient achieve their dental goals and maintain ideal oral health. She prioritizes creating a comfortable and welcoming environment to ensure her patients feel at ease during their visits.

In her free time, Dr. Chung enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, be it playing board games or exploring the Bay Area’s food scene. She also finds joy in belting out tunes at karaoke sessions. Additionally, she has a cat and a dog, and cherishes the companionship they bring to her life.

Binh Tran, DDS

Dr. Binh Tran graduated from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2021. Prior to that, she obtained a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Tran is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry and completes the required number of continuing education hours every year. She is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Dental Association (ADA) and the California Dental Association (CDA).

Dr. Tran’s dedication to her craft has been recognized, as she received the prestigious American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit in 2021. With two years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Tran has quickly become a trusted practitioner in the area.

As a dentist, Dr. Tran is passionate about providing patients with comprehensive dental care. She believes in the power of prevention and focuses on educating her patients about the importance of maintaining good oral health. Dr. Tran strives to offer quality dental treatments that help her patients improve and maintain their smiles.

Dr. Tran understands that visiting the dentist can be a daunting experience for some individuals. With this in mind, she aims to create a comfortable and friendly environment to help patients overcome dental phobias and anxieties.

Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with her family and engages in outdoor activities such as hiking and gardening. She also appreciates exploring new restaurants and trying different cuisines.

Notably, Dr. Tran is fluent in Vietnamese, allowing her to effectively communicate and cater to the needs of Vietnamese-speaking patients.
